 THP ACTIVITIES

 The first two years of the program (2006-2007) documented the range of ‘business cases for migration’. A meeting in Los Angeles in March 2007 completed the first series of seminars, initiated in 2006 in Johannesburg and London, in partnership with the Ethical Global Initiative (EGI). The second phase of the initiative (2007- 2009) brings CEOs and senior management from a wide range of sectors (notably finance, services, extractive, construction) in roundtables and disseminate the most innovative findings of the overall initiative to national, regional and international policy-makers working on migration and development (including to the Global Forum on Migration and Development). THP has notably published a comprehensive position statement document on the role of the finance sector issued in 2005, which will also be followed-up.
