 THP ACTIVITIES

 THP has mobilized its global network in three regional meetings focusing on refugee and migration issues: in Bangkok, Thailand on Integration and Social Inclusion from a Southern Perspective (2004) in Amman, Jordan on Advancing the Refugee and Migration Agenda in the Middle East (2005) and in Lagos Nigeria in (2007) on Migration between West Africa and the Maghreb: toward joint responses to the policy gaps, in cooperation with the research network NOMRA. Projects for 2007- 2009 will advance these open agendas and forthcoming activities in South-East Asia will also bring a specific contribution to the second meeting of the Global Forum on Migration and Development. In the Middle East, THP is developing the Building Bridges project with local civil society partners (more information available soon).
