THP is a multi-disciplinary global network of over 2,000 individuals, public and civil society organizations and institutions with expertise in refugee and migration issues.

Members originate from more than 80 countries, with increasing representation from the South. The experience, seniority and level of involvement of the contacts with individual members of the network vary widely, from policy contributions to mere information exchange.

 

The network functions in the following ways:

 

• As a pool of expertise on which THP draws for participants to seminars, workshops and conferences
• As a source of direct partners to conduct and follow-up on THP’s projects
• As a sounding board and testing ground for generating new ideas and THP’s outputs
• As a reactive means for dissemination of THP’s work, acquired knowledge and identified good practices
